About us
Thames Valley School helps autistic students build on their strengths, learning, confidence and enjoyment. Our aim is to respond to the needs of each of our students, helping them to grow in confidence and achieve.
Welcome to Thames Valley School
I am truly honoured to be the Principal of Thames Valley School. This is a school that is rooted in the community with the child and their family at the core and where each pupil is valued and supported to achieve their best.
By utilising the skills of our highly trained staff and creating a safe and engaging environment, with an inspiring and meaningful curriculum, we provide our children with the skills, understanding and knowledge to succeed and transition into further education and employment.
We offer a rich and broad curriculum delivered by teachers that are passionate and knowledgeable and reflective of their own practice. With high expectations, we provide an environment that supports each child to succeed and undertake the academic qualifications that will prepare them for life.
We believe in preparing our pupils by supporting them to become independent lifelong learners, who follow their interests and life ambitions. We value that each learner has a place in society and we further promote that by supporting the community with their understanding and awareness of autism, enabling our learners to reach their goals and become valued members of their own community.
I look forward to working in partnership with each child and their family over the coming years, joining you on your child’s educational journey into adulthood, watching them grow and succeed whilst celebrating their achievements together.
