Claire Beresford
Governor
Claire is a teacher and a Special Needs Coordinator with 11 years of experience. After graduating from Nottingham University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Claire went on to study for her PGCE in Primary Education at Manchester Metropolitan University.
She has worked in a number of schools across Cheshire and Staffordshire and in 2017 she completed the National Award for SENCO’s. Claire has a passion for working with vulnerable pupils, with a particular focus on social, emotional and mental health needs and attachment.
As well as teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, Claire is a Deputy Safeguarding Lead, PSHE Coordinator and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead in her current school.
