We are a local authority maintained special school for pupils aged 2-19 years with severe learning difficulties (SLD). Our pupils with autism are integrated into standard classes. All provision is on the same site. Please see our website for further information. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. All volunteers are supervised. It is important that the wider community learn to support pupils and young people with autism. Other interventions, approaches and programmes offered by the school are a wide variety of physical education (PE) including PE, dance, swimming, athletics, Special Olympics and equestrian. Short break services are for their own pupils only. There are 52% service users with autism.
