AASC is a multi-professional team which provides diagnostic assessment services for children/young people experiencing difficulty/difference in their social communication and behaviour. This ensures that the process delivers a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the child/young person's strengths, difficulties and needs. Each assessment includes a full and detailed developmental history and description of concerns as well as the administration of Autism specific assessment tools (such as the ADOS and 3di). AASC works sensitively with children, families and professionals to provide accurate explanations and explore positive, supportive strategies for moving forwards. Our team is made up of autism specialists who are experienced and qualified in assessing autism and other developmental conditions.

AASC professionals are also skilled in specialist interventions for children with autism and their families this includes interventions using psychological approaches such as CBT and behaviour support and specialist speech and language therapy assessment and intervention. We would be happy to additionally discuss the therapy options that we can provide individually or working as a team'. We can also provide supervision and training to other professionals.

We are all registered with our professional bodies and the Health Professionals Council.
