Aberlour Options - Lothian provides a range of short breaks and respite care for children and young people affected by a learning and/or physical disability in East Lothian and Midlothian.

Aberlour Options - Lothian is located in a purpose-built bungalow in Prestonpans and provides a residential service for 39 weekends of the year when children and young people may stay Friday through to Monday. The service is also available on a weekly basis for 7 weeks during the school holidays.

The Service provides
• a residential respite service at weekends and school holidays,
• an outreach service for children and young people at weekends,
• midweek outreach support for families,
• emergency respite when requested.

All referrals via Social Work.
