Bearsden Academy was founded in 1911, and is a non-denominational, six-year comprehensive school situated in the Glasgow suburb of Bearsden. Its location on the former St Andrew’s College campus gives it a central focus in the community, and it is within easy reach of the four associated primaries: Baljaffray, Bearsden, Castlehill and Mosshead. The school is home to a Language and Communication Resource funded by East Dunbartonshire Council. Pupils attending the Resource are integrated to varying levels within classes.
