CARES provides information, help and support to unpaid family carers and the people they look after within Sandwell in the West Midlands. CARES offers: A comprehensive information and advice service; A telephone helpline; An outreach service for carers unable to get out and about; Carer support groups; Carer get togethers and away days; A guidance, employment and learning service; A carers' consultation network; Culturally sensitive one-to-one support for African Caribbean and Asian carers; Help to get the best support from GPs and continuing support after the care is over. CARES' Helpline is available Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm with a 24 hr answerphone available.
