If you care for someone, you may be eligible to apply for an annual fund of up to £300 to pay a care agency, family member or friend to provide daytime, evening or overnight care in your own home. This will enable you to have a social or leisure break away or an unbroken night's sleep. This fund also applies to purchasing Assistive Technology or gadgets to ease your role as a carer, the funding can be used to buy items to provide support, monitoring and reassurance while you are away from home. It caters for all carers of all ages (as we also have a young carers team working with our youngest). We do not provide funding to anyone out of the 6 districts of Staffordshire.
