We are an all age special school with the category of moderate learning disabilities (MLD), however all our pupils have additional needs. We cater for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), speech and language, hearing impaired etc. All pupils have a statement of special education need (SEN) and their statements are reviewed on an annual basis. We work closely with all relevant agencies ie social services, education psychology service, pupil services, education welfare services, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. The following volunteers may be accepted to work with pupils: student nurses, teachers, social workers, VI form students. The school caters for pupils from a large part of the South East of Essex.
