Corley Centre
Main information
Type of service: Day schools, Outreach - education, Residential schools, Schools
Corley Centre is designated as a school for pupils with complex social and communication difficulties. The majority of our pupils have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The curriculum leads to Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2 and General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) qualifications. The school offers some extended day and residential provision from Monday to Thursday. The main school is for pupils aged 11-16 but we also provide a Post 16 unit for some older pupils. Corley Centre also incorporates Coventry Autism Support Service (CASS) which supports all children in Coventry with an ASD diagnosis until they are 16. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. The residential curriculum is in response to individual student need and not a respite service.
