Crossroads Care provides meaningful respite to those caring for someone with an illness, disability, frailty, substance abuse or mental health issue on the Isle of Man. Crossroads Care run several services including: Care at Home - carer support workers take over the caring role to allow carers to take a break; Young Carers' Project - our Young Carers team arrange meetings and trips for young carers, providing them with support; Crossroads Community Venture - support in the workplace, education and our own Social Enterprise scheme helps adults with learning disabilities to contribute to their community; Derby House Nursery & Nursery Outreach - running our own playgroup and providing support workers in mainstream nurseries, enables all children to be included in preschool activities, regardless of care needs; Holiday Scheme - parent carers are given a break during school holidays helping them spend time with other children or remain in the workplace through our holiday club designed for children with a care need; and Building Bridges & Social Club - young people with learning disabilities can attend our Building Bridges project and Social Club where they make friends and learn life skills.
