The Pre-School Support Service consists of 1 head of service, 3.2 home visiting teachers and 1 nursery nurse. Home visitors work with families at home and, together with parents, work out ways to help their child's development in all areas of their learning. This is a Portage Service and it uses this model where appropriate. Children with ASD form a large proportion of it's caseload. The service offers EarlyBird in conjunction with Russet House School.
