Family First Fostering

Main information

Type of service: Fostering

Family First Fostering was established to meet the needs of young people, of between the ages of 0-18 years, who require quality foster placements. We believe that every young person has the right to the same opportunities as other young people who are fortunate enough to live in an environment that is nurturing, supportive and safe. Such an environment is vital in enabling a child to reach their full potential, by empowering them to take control of their lives in a positive manner. At Family First Fostering, we train and support our foster carers so that they can provide a secure and stable environment for the children and young people they take in. We are always recruiting reliable, empathetic and non-judgmental foster carers, who take a child-focused approach and are passionate about their wellbeing, their development and their future. Disabilities and conditions catered for by the service are: Asperger syndrome, high-functioning autism, autism, autism spectrum, challenging behaviour, moderate learning disabilities, profound and multiple learning disabilities, severe learning disabilities, mental health problems, hearing impairment, visual impairment and physical disability.
