Fife NHS Board is responsible for maintaining and improving the health of the population of Fife of just under 350,000 people. The Board's role is to assess health needs, commission health services to meet these needs, and promote healthy living. They are working to develop communities where people feel a sense of hope for the future and to ensure the provision of high quality clinical services which reflect the needs of the population.
