Type of service: Play and leisure, Service providers

Referral procedure: all students are referred by the school or supporting agencies. Students are then invited to a visit and a supported discussion over an appropriate course takes place. Following this all booking forms are completed and invoices sent to agreed department. Facilities: equine environment; working yard with 280 acres of pasture, woodland and meadow; fully equipped classroom with interactive whiteboard (IWB); outdoor classroom, sensory garden, vegetable garden; and disabled access to classroom and toilets. Approaches: multi-sensory approach for kinaesthetic, visual and auditory learners. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the service users.
