Provides specialist care for adults between 18 and 65 years of age with special needs such as learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, autism spectrum disorder, a diagnosed mental illness and also dual diagnosis of any of these conditions. The focus of the unit is towards rehabilitation that will provide clients with the encouragement they need to ultimately return to a less supported environment and where possible their own tenancy. Huntercombe House Peterlee is safe, warm and friendly in a central location within its own grounds. We provide care for up to 15 residential clients on our upper floor. Each bedroom is for singular use and has en-suite facilities. On our ground floor we have six spacious self contained flatlets which have kitchen facilities, an eating area, sleeping area and en-suite facilities.
