Isobel Mair School has a holistic approach to the education of pupils who have a very wide range of additional support needs. The new school in Newton Mearns, opened in 2012, is home to pupils aged 0 to 18 years, with three teaching areas and a hydrotherapy pool, sensory room and art and leisure facilities. It also has a life skills area, set out as a house where young people can learn skills including ironing, cooking and making the bed.
