Employment Training project. Provides training opportunities for people with a learning disability. Students work towards their NVQ I Food Preparation and Service, and Food Hygiene qualification. They gain skills in all aspects of catering from serving customers, food preparation, ordering stock, cleaning and so on, in preparation for paid employment. Krumbs has been in operation for ten years and now offers additional services including outside catering. Past Krumbs students have succeeded in gaining nationally recognised qualifications, helping them build on their CV and move on to work in other, non-UR catering jobs.
