Moorfields Lodge

Main information

Type of service: Residential services

Specialist support for four individuals with autism spectrum disorder, Asperger syndrome and complex needs, which may include behaviour which challenges the service. Moorfields Lodge is a large detached Victorian house in the picturesque village of Haworth, which is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The service is a short walk from local shops and tourist attractions and an important part of the support we provide is to enable everyone to make full use of the resources available in the area. We recognise the importance of people's relationships with family and friends, and welcome visits at any reasonable time. Staff support individuals to develop new friendships. Moorfields Lodge has four large bedrooms each with en-suite facilities which can be adapted to meet individuals' requirements. There are a number of communal areas, including two lounges, a relaxation area, a kitchen and two conservatories. This provides ample space for activities within the service, both as a group and individually. There is a large garden with a patio area and space to develop a kitchen garden as part of building daily living skills.
