Lothian NHS Board is a unified board charged with reducing inequalities and improving health in Lothian. Part of our role is to cut bureaucracy and streamline decision making and planning at a strategic level in the NHS locally. At the same time they hope to create effective links with patients, staff, local communities, partners and excluded groups so their needs and views are put at the heart of the design and delivery of local health services.
