Type of service: Family support and information services

Offers a range of support and advice to carers. We help carers deal with social services and fill out forms such as Disability Living Allowance and Attendance Allowance. We can also help carers find funding if they need special equipment or adaptations in the home. We run a programme of training and support group sessions specifically for Parent Carers of children/young people with Additional Support Needs or long-term illness or disability. We also have a young carers project for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years.
