Pinetrees is situated in Selly Park. It provides a small home environment for four adults with Asperger syndrome. Pinetrees was developed in partnership with the Family Housing Association (Birmingham) in order to provide greater independence for people at the more able end of the autism spectrum. The ethos of Pinetrees is to promote independent living skills within a supportive environment, encouraging individuals to develop their interests and abilities and participate in the wider community. The property is located in a quiet residential area, within walking distance of local amenities including Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham City Centre and the local countryside south of the city.
