Potens provides services in Greater Manchester for adults with autism spectrum disorders and associated learning disabilities. This includes individuals with a wide range of abilities, including those with Asperger syndrome without a learning disability and people with severely challenging behaviour. Services are person-centred, ASD specialised and have an emphasis on skills development and community participation. The Development Centre promotes leisure, educational and vocational opportunities and a Behavioural Psychotherapist is employed and provides Applied Behavioural Analysis / Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy.
