Rhyme House

Main information

Type of service: Residential services

Specialism: Learning Disability, Autism and behaviours that may challenge.
Details of Vacancies: One ground floor room and a large first floor room are available (as of April 2014). Type of Service: This service would be suitable for anyone moving from residential care or their family home who need a period of transition before moving in to more independent living environments. The service provides 24-hour background core support, including a sleep-in night member of staff and background staff during the day. Individuals are assessed for 1:1 hours. Current Profile of Service: The upstairs rooms are set up with only two per area. Each room is large enough for a sitting area with kitchen units to create a studio flat feel. The service users are a young adult group all working towards higher levels of independence. Hours Provided: There is 24-hour staffing, including waking night and sleep-in staff. Focus of Service: We develop a package of support based on an individual's assessed needs. Due to the nature of this home, we encourage individuals to enhance their social and domestic skills to help them achieve their full potential. Opportunities to move on to supported living services can be included within outcome plans. Referrals can be made via Regard's website page link or via their dedicated referrals telephone number 0800 840 0313.
