Type of service: Day schools, Outreach - education, Schools

Primary special school catering for pupils with severe and complex communication disorders, which includes pupils with autism, Asperger syndrome and those with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyspraxia and complex speech and language impairments. Children are taught in small class groups. There is 0.8 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) speech and language therapy support available. Volunteers to work with the pupils may be accepted after high level police checks. Other interventions, approaches and programmes offered by the school are language groups.
