The school caters for pupils aged 4 to 9 years. Gold Class is a specialist provision for pupils with a statement provision for pupils with a statement and a primary diagnosis of autism. The provision uses a Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped CHildren (TEACCH) approach and aims to enable pupils to successfully be included in all mainstream activities.
