The team can offer: observations in the classroom or playground; meetings with parents, staff and other agencies; production of an Action Plan or report; delivery of training; practical strategies and advice; development of resources; advice on targets and tracking progression; attendance of multiagency meetings and reviews. We may also work with an individual child or young person on a programme of intervention in exceptional circumstances. Referral to the Autism Communication Team is made by the setting (school, nursery etc).
