Sensory House Holidays

Main information

Type of service: Holidays

Sensory House is a 6 bed village house in Southern Spain with a lot of character and great views over the mountains from the roof terrace. It is ideally suited to a large family or small family groups that are wanting to share. The house is located in a quiet corner of a traditional whitewashed Andalucian village, just a short stroll from the main plaza and less than 10 minutes drive to the beach. It has a regular bus service to nearby towns and Malaga if you don't wish to drive..

Sensory House is different in that it's owners have an understanding of the difficulties that families face when they are travelling with children who have a neurological or developmental disability. The house will have a sensory room that can help minimise anxiety and encourage sensory play. The house has been designed to minimise damage and be safe for children and the owners are very understanding of any breakages. .

Therapeutic holiday coaching is also available at an additional cost. This can help to familiarise your child/children with the journey to Sensory House and their surroundings once they arrive. Please see www.sensoryhouseholidays.com/therapeutic-holiday-coaching..

Please note that Sensory House are taking bookings from November 2015 onwards only. The sensory rooms displayed on their website are a guide only as the rooms are still in the process of being designed. .

This property is not adapted for wheelchair users. .
