Sinclairslaw is a specialist law firm that represents vulnerable people and in particular specialises in education law. They have represented hundreds of clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through the statutory assessment process on to the statementing process and finally have represented a number of these clients at Special Educational Needs Tribunals. In addition, they assist families who are having difficulty with children with emotional behavioural difficulties and autism-related conditions. They have secured social services provision for these children and have taken a number of cases to the High Court to ensure that these children have received the support that they are entitled to from the social services and education department. Sinclairs also assists University students and parents of children who have been excluded. Sinclairs holds free parent seminars on education law matters throughout England and Wales. They are able to attend education tribunals or associated appeals. A special educational needs (SEN) helpline service is provided on 02920 706444. Callers to the helpline should leave a message on the answering machine and they will be called back. The Birmingham office deals mainly with SEN and higher education issues. The Penarth office deals with SEN, higher education and other issues. Sinclairslaw now has an office in Twickenham, London, with dedicated Education Law solicitors on hand to assist.
