Shared Care is a registered charity which promotes and supports the development of short break/respite services for carers and the people they care for. It offers an information and enquiry service to anyone seeking information regarding respite provision, policy and practice throughout Scotland. The information service is available by phone Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.00pm. If you contact the service by email please include a daytime phone number so that your enquiry can be followed up. It also produces a quarterly newsletter and hosts events throughout mainland Scotland. Shared Care Scotland is not a direct provider of respite provision.
