The Chestnuts is a service supporting people with learning disabilities, including behaviours that challenge. The home is a perfect stepping stone to more independent living, being made up of a small community home for four people, and two adjacent flats for one or two people. The stable staff team at The Chestnuts are trained to support those on the autistic spectrum, as well as people with physical disabilities, epilepsy and non-verbal communication needs. Staff at the home support people to manage their behaviour and to take calculated risks to enhance their lives.
