The Poplars is based in Selly Park, Birmingham and provides residential services for five adults with Asperger syndrome. The project has been undertaken in collaboration with Birnbeck Housing Association. Four individuals live in a group environment, while the fifth has a self-contained flat on the premises, allowing him to live more independently while still having access to 24-hour support as required. The property is a converted family home and is located conveniently close to local amenities and Birmingham City Centre and the local countryside south of the city.
