West Norfolk ASD Saturday Clubs
Main information
Type of service: Play and leisure
There are now two clubs in Kings Lynn, one funded by the NAS West Norfolk Branch the other by Social Services. The Social Services-funded club takes place on the first Saturday of the month and is for children on the autism spectrum aged 5-13 years. 6 children attend. The children need to have either a disability social worker and/or have an allocated number of hours letter from Social Services. The club runs from 10.00am till 1pm and the children attend without parents, providing a respite service. Families should contact Donna Cyd via email for further information. The other club is also for children aged 5-13 years and runs from 10.00am to 1pm on the 3rd Saturday of the month. It has 15 places and is for children on the autism spectrum plus their siblings, the parents remain at the club. To attend this club please contact West Norfolk Branch Officer Delores Williamson at westnorfolk@nas.org.uk. .
