Wigan Children's Disability Data Hub

Main information

A register of children with disabilities who live in Wigan Borough inline with The Children Act 1989. The only people who can agree to a young person being on the register is the young person themselves or their parents. This is voluntary and you can remove your child's name from the list at any time. Advantages of registration include: help to develop services; stay up-to-date about changes and development. All information is kept confidential and is only used by staff across social care, health and education teams to help them plan and provide services.
