Woodchurch High Church of England Academy is a mainstream mixed comprehensive with approximately 1350 students on role. The school has a virtual base provision for up to 20 students with autism spectrum condition (ASC). These pupils receive 1:1 in class support within mainstream lessons and follow a reduced timetable to allow time for social skills sessions, independent travel and other intervention. The schools ethos is inclusive and this cohort of pupils could have the opportunity to access a mainstream curriculum.
