Chiltern Hills Walk

This exciting and new event to 2021. The route is a 24km (15 mile) route taking in some of the highlights of the Chilterns AONB including Grangelands and Pulpit Hill (an Iron Age Hill Fort) Low Scrubs, Bacombe Hill and Coombe Hill - the highest point in the Chilterns (260m).

About the event

The route goes through in a variety of terrain including woodland and grasslands with extensive views and plenty of areas of natural history interest. The route also takes in some short sections of the Ridgeway National Trail and the Icknield Way Trail.

The walk is estimated to take up to 7.5-8.5 hours to complete and a team of experienced mountain guides will be with you every step of the way. A good level of fitness with prior training is required to take part in this challenge and training tips will also be provided.

We are aware that the weather during this time of year is unpredictable so if it’s forecast rain and the event won’t be safe to go ahead, we will postpone.
