About the event

The TCS London Marathon is an incredible and world renowned run, where thousands of runners take to the capital city’s streets.

We are thrilled to offer charity places to passionate Team Autism heroes and will support you throughout your marathon journey to make this an event to remember!

Were you awarded a place in the official 2022 TCS London Marathon ballot? Are you carrying your place over due to the 2020 event being cancelled? Or did you gain a place via your running club's allocation? GREAT! We would love for you to join Team Autism and enjoy all of the perks that signing up to our team brings. How we will support you

Our charity is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people, and every penny you raise will help us achieve this goal.

We would love you to join Team Autism and everyone who runs with the National Autistic Society receives:

  1. fundraising materials and a downloadable planner to help boost your fundraising
  2. an online training zone, full of expert training tips, information on injury prevention and race nutrition
  3. access to our team training day in London with a qualified coach and a fundraising workshop
  4. a high quality charity running vest that you can personalise with iron-on letters
  5. a pasta party invitation, where you can join the events team and #TeamAutism runners in a carb-loading meal the night before the marathon
  6. support from our amazing autism cheer point to give you that extra push along the route – friends and family are encouraged to join in!
  7. a post-event reception at a hotel with massages, showers, food and photos. Again, friends and family are welcome
  8. and finally, our dedicated staff member, Lauren Bartlett, who is on hand to answer any questions you may have.
