About the training
The DISCO framework builds upon the concept of autism being a spectrum and was originally developed by Lorna Wing and Judith Gould as both a clinical and a research instrument. It helps professionals to understand the needs of individuals, both children and adults and to develop formulations and diagnoses.
Who is the course for?
All participants will be accredited DISCO users who wish to update their knowledge and working practice in the diagnosis and assessment of autism spectrum disorders
How is the course delivered?
The course is delivered over the course of one day and is presented by Dr Judith Gould, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Dr Sue Sheppard, Specialist Educational Psychologist, with support from the team at The Lorna Wing Centre.
The day runs from 10am to 4pm.
