Type of service: Residential services

At 182 Ashby Road we support five younger adults with learning disabilities, autism and associated mental health needs or an acquired brain injury. The service can also support people who present with behaviours which may challenge at times. At present all the people living at the service are male.

Individuals living at 182 Ashby Road are supported by a dedicated and knowledgeable staff team who encourage each person to identify their personal goals and plan ways of achieving these. It is a busy and active service offering people the chance to access their local community in order to increase their independence. Individuals are also supported to improve their skills in daily living tasks from budgeting and personal finances to household chores and health care needs and to gradually take more personal responsibility for each of these areas.
