Action-attainment
Main information
Type of service: Interventions and therapies, Play and leisure, Social groups
Action-attainment is about enabling children with speech, language, communication and sensory needs to achieve and have active lives. Led by Samantha Silver, the organisation builds on Sam's personal and professional experience of supporting children, and their families, to have fun and learn in and out of school. Action-attainment works directly with families, professionals, schools and with community groups to provide understanding, strategies and opportunities for learning, play and friendships. The programmes in South West London offered by Action-attainment are evidence based, both in clinical practice and from 11 years of operation at that charity from 2002-2013. Action-attainment aims to provide information, training and activities that will help the understanding and outcomes for this at risk group working alongside families, schools and professionals. 2015 - we can now offer Summer Sport activities in July and August for young people with social communication needs.
