AIM (Autism Inclusion Matters) User Lead Forum

Main information

Type of service: Local groups

AIM (Autism Inclusion Matters) User Lead Forum is a user lead group on the Isle of Wight (IW) for adults (over 18 years) who have autism or Asperger syndrome, also known as an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or autism spectrum condition (ASC). AIM is a user lead group. This means that with support, people who have ASD will decide what happens in the group and help to run the groups. We listen to what adults with ASD have to say about life on the Isle of Wight, and help to make changes. We do this by having meetings, sending out questionnaires, and talking to people at our social groups. We are always looking for more members and volunteers. AIM is supported by a partnership between Way Forward, Positive Difference and People Matter IW. These organisations work together to support the group..
