Aitch Care Homes Limited aim to assist the resident to develop his/her independence and living skills and enable them to live as full and independent a life in the community as possible. Twenty-four hour therapeutic support will be offered, promoting independent thought and normalisation within a calming and homely environment. Aitch Care Homes Limited's primary aim will be to implement a carefully planned package of care, using a multi-professional approach, targeted towards each individual’s needs and aspirations. The ultimate goal will be for residents to live in their own accommodation with minimal support. This will involve careful assessment and planned risk monitoring as outlined in our risk management procedure. One to one support will provide the opportunity to develop an individual’s life and increase independent skills. The promotion of choice, independence and empowerment will be an integral part of care planning, allowing individuals the ability to make informed choices and to take control where possible to enhance their overall quality of life. The service will provide for a wide range of learning disabilities, but will specialise in autistic spectrum disorders and epilepsy, including any associated challenging behaviours and complex needs.
