Support service for families and schools and Relax Kids Classes. Supporting children in educational, community and home environments providing Autism friendly classroom audit as well as providing practical advice to make the learning environment more inclusive. Skilling up teaching staff in best practice when supporting a child 1:1, and how to prevent the child becoming over dependent on the support. Observations to look for trigger points that could be the antecedent to unwanted behaviours. Practical advice to reduce anxieties. Practical support in creating accessible learning resources, adapting school lesson plans and classwork to meet the needs of the child and meet the learning objectives of the lesson. Autism support for families. Advice and practical help dealing with common behaviours. Guidance for completing the Disability Living Allowance application and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) applications. Running Relax Kids sessions that include dance and movement, relaxation games, stretching, massage, breathing, affirmations, mindfulness and visualisations. Relax Kids Improve concentration, help to reduce angry out bursts, lower stress levels and promote self-belief help to self-regulate. Disabilities and conditions catered for by the service are: Asperger syndrome, High-functioning autism, Autism, Autism spectrum, Challenging behaviour, Moderate learning disabilities, Profound and multiple learning disabilities, Severe learning disabilities and Mental health problems.
