I am an integratively trained Psychotherapist/Counsellor with particular experience working with Children, young people and adults on the autism spectrum. I work from Surrey using a range of approaches to suit the needs of the individual client. I can work creatively using visual resources eg emotion cards, colour or other media if this provides a useful way of communicating and developing a relationship. I promote relaxation methods and strategies, alongside other Mindfulness techniques. Coping strategies can help promote autonomy and respite from the extreme anxiety that people on the spectrum have to deal with. The service provides: cognitive behavioural therapy; integrative; person centred; and transactional analysis. I am a qualified supervisor of other counsellors.
