Angus Carers Centre was established in 1996 and is a local charity which is part of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers network. Our vision is all carers in Angus will be given the opportunity to access relevant information and support to enable them to feel valued and empowered in their caring role. As well as offering information on a range of issues including benefits, respite and services available to carers, we also offer the following: emotional support; training for carers; relaxations therapies; counselling; leisure opportunities; social and relaxation opportunities; support groups; sitting service; a quarterly newsletter; and support for young carers. An autism spectrum disorder (ASD) group meets monthly. Our 'Families Programme' supports families affected by autism. Accepts volunteers.
