Vasiliki (Vas) Papoutsi is an Art Psychotherapist working for an NHS Trust working in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health and the Neurodevelopmental (autism and learning disabilities) teams and also holds a small private practice and can do sessional work too. She see clients individually or with their parents/carers. She offers assessments and consultations and clients do not have to be good at art or expect to do art necessarily. She encourages sensory integration through art and play if there are difficulties around this area too. She can write reports to social care, health and courts upon request. She is also a clinical supervisor and can offer clinical supervision to trainees and Art Therapists. She is happy to see children and young people at home or in their schools and offers family sessions. Her practice is mainly autism-specific apart from a small fraction to include her other specialism in attachment work and working with adoptive and foster families and their children/young people.
