Cognitive Coaching for parent/carers who have a child with autism to help improve family life and encourage their child to flourish. Teaching skills and techniques to help with anxiety, anger, phobias, feeling low and positive behaviour. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for parents who want support in feeling more positive, less anxious, more in control and to boost their self esteem. The service can be provided in client's home or in consultancy rooms in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
Eligibility
Age: From age 18 to 60
Aimed at: Parent/carer of a child, Parent/carer of a young person
Registrations & Approaches
Specialisms: Has autism-specific elements, Staff and volunteers get autism awareness training
Registrations and professional qualifications: Sarah follows the I.A.H.T. code of conduct and professional practice and is committed to regular supervision and ongoing development. C.O.E Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; I.O.C Diploma in Cognitive Coaching and Mentoring; Certificate in Active Listening Skills; Certificates in Creating Sensory Play and Encouraging; Positive Behaviour; and, Certificate in Safeguarding Level 1.
