Support for the parents, carers and siblings of children and adults on the autism spectrum in Greater Manchester. .
Monthly meetings are held at the ASGMA Resource Centre in Stretford, giving parents and carers a chance to meet others in a similar position to themselves and have a chat over a cup of tea (or coffee) and a biscuit. No need to book - just come along when you want to. See the ASGMA website for details. .
The ASGMA Family Group aims to give young children with autism a chance to come along with their brothers and sisters, mums and dads or carers to meet up with others and enjoy themselves in a safe and friendly atmosphere, at the ASGMA Autism Resource Centre in Stretford. The group meets once a month on a Wednesday evening and once a month on a Saturday morning. Parents/carers can have a cuppa and a chat while their children, including the brother or sister of the child with autism, enjoy the facilities on offer at the centre. There is a nominal charge of £3 per family, for non-ASGMA members, payable on the day to cover costs including light refreshments. .
