ASPiration Service is a support service for adults and young adults (16 years and over) with Asperger Syndrome (AS) and High Functioning Autism living in Oxfordshire. The service is run by Kingwood and offers practical short-term support. The service is for people who are non FACS (Fair Access to Care Services) eligible so are not entitled to or receiving any other support services. .

There are 3 main strands to the service: .

• Advice, information and guidance on a range of issues. We can offer suggestions based on your needs of specialised services; signpost to organisations and, offer drop in sessions for people who would prefer to get advice face-to-face.
• Support, specifically tailored to the individual's needs. We offer between 1 and 5 one-to-one sessions to discuss goals, strategies and solutions and can help focus on one - two goals. The support can be on a range of topics such as housing, benefits, employment, relationships etc.
• Peer groups. We can provide information on groups run by other organisations such as social groups or special interest groups. We will be offering a variety of groups ranging from support groups to social groups. If you are interested please let us have your details and we will contact you when we have dates for the next sessions. Once we have received an enquiry from you, a parent or another third party, we will arrange an informal chat about our service. This can be done via email, face to face, telephone, Skype, messenger, text etc. A referral form then needs to be completed so we can gather information about your support needs.
