Aspire offers a specialist service for adults with autism. We support individuals who would like to progress into work through our employment programme. We currently can offer Work Choice (Birmingham, Solihull & Black Country only). We can help people learn about their Autism and advance skills through our Personal Development course, Inspire Me (Birmingham only). We also offer in-work assessments, support and mentoring for those already in employment, these services are available mainly in the Birmingham area and some surrounding areas. We have an Information, Advice and Guidance service - BASIS (Birmingham Adult Signposting & Information Service) (Birmingham only). We also offer a Befriending and Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service for those living in the Walsall area. Lastly, we have a number of social and support groups available. Some of which are held from our office in central Birmingham, others based in the Sandwell and Solihull local areas. We have been operating since 2001 supporting people on the spectrum achieve positive outcomes, both employment based and personal. There is further information under the 'Adult Support' tab on the Autism West Midlands website. Please contact Aspire to discuss accessing any of our programmes, as the referral process varies. The service also provides: Personal Development, Information Advice & Guidance and Social & Support Groups.
